J.C. Lewis Ford Dealership, Statesboro, GA

A Ford Dealership Features New Ford Prototype Aesthetics

The project consisted of the design and construction of an approximately 21,000 SF new Ford dealership on an 8.8-acre site located at 6922 Veterans Memorial Parkway in Statesboro, GA. The building design was based on the 2016 Ford 750 Prototype, with a few minor modifications: the 9,900 SF Quick Lane Building is attached to the main building service drive, the car wash bay is an exterior bay attached to the service building, the building has 4 additional service bays, and a few minor interior plan changes. The primary structural system at the Showroom and Brand Wall consists of conventional structural steel, while the Parts and Service Quick Lane Areas will consist of a Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB). The project also included three (3) new driveway connections, right-turn/deceleration lanes, and signal improvements on two state routes.

This facility was constructed by Savannah-based Choate Construction and completed in March 2019.
